Marissa Cuevas is an experienced acting coach* who works with students of all ages, whether they’re just starting out or already a series regular.
She’s great at helping actors nail the technical aspects, navigate different tones and genres, and express their true authenticity, all in a supportive and approachable way that makes auditioning fun and effective.
Marissa began acting at age nine in local theater productions in her hometown of New Orleans before transitioning to film and tv with roles in Disney's "Kickin It," "Lab Rats: Bionic Island," Nickelodeon's "Supah Ninjas", and the family film "Labou." Mentored by Sara Mornell since 2014, Marissa learned the intricacies of camera technique and the art of making a role uniquely your own. She's had diverse and noteworthy roles on major networks and streaming platforms, including "The Big Bang Theory," "Modern Family," and a three-season stint as "Nadia" on the CW's "Kung Fu."
Marissa is a Mornell Certified Coach with experience as both a coach and instructor at Mornell Studios from 2020-2024. She has studied under Sara Mornell for the past 10 years and feels honored to apply the knowledge and skills she gained from Sara to empower actors, in the same way that Sara inspired her.
